Privacy policy
Valid from 16 October 2026. If the Swedish and English versions differ, the Swedish version applies.
A-KEEJ AB, reg. no. 559536-4372, is the data controller for the data described here. Send questions about your data to hej@a-keej.se.
This website
a-keej.se uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking. The fonts are served from our own server. If you email us, we keep the email as long as needed to reply and for bookkeeping.
TrailWit: what we store
- Buyers: the email address, so that we can send the code and the receipt, and the purchase details required by Swedish bookkeeping law (kept for 7 years). Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card details.
- Hosts with an account: the email address used to sign in, and the trails you save. They are kept until you delete them or the account.
- The trail: questions, answers, stops on the map and images the host adds. The images are only visible to the trail's host and guests.
- Guests: the name or team name the guest enters, the answers and the result. We do not ask for anything else.
- The feedback after the game: optional and anonymous. The answers are used to improve the game.
How long
- Guests' names, answers and results are deleted automatically 30 days after the day of play.
- A trail that is not saved to an account is deleted completely, with questions and images, 30 days after the day of play.
- A trail saved to an account is kept until the host deletes it or the account.
Location on your phone
In GPS mode the app uses the phone's location to show the way to the next stop and to open the question when you arrive. The location stays on the phone. It is not sent to us and is not stored.
Others who handle data for us
- Supabase (database and storage, servers in the EU).
- Vercel (runs the website and the app).
- Stripe (payment). Stripe is itself responsible for payment data.
- Anthropic (AI question suggestions). When the host asks for suggestions, the audience, difficulty, themes, the host's own themes and the existing questions are sent. Nothing about the guests and no images are sent. Anthropic is based in the USA, and the transfer uses the EU standard contractual clauses.
- OpenStreetMap (map images). When a map is shown, the phone fetches the images directly, and the phone's IP address is then sent to OpenStreetMap in the UK, which the EU considers a safe country.
Why we may handle the data
To deliver the service you have bought or are playing (contract), for bookkeeping (legal obligation) and to improve the game with the feedback (legitimate interest).
Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to the processing. Email us. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
